Almost any student, regardless if he/she is an undergraduate or graduate student, is eligible for some type of student employment. Work-Study is a type of financial aid that allows you to earn money while you鈥檙e studying at 水多多导航 to assist with education expenses Student employment opportunities are offered through multiple programs: Federal Work-Study, PA State Work-Study, Institutional Work-Study and Graduate Assistantships. The maximum amount a student may earn in a federal work study position will be reflected on the student鈥檚 Financial Aid Summary of the self-service portal. Work Study amounts should not be subtracted from your university bill as students are paid only for the hours they work via a paycheck.
A federal work study offer does not guarantee a position. To receive a job opportunity, the student must actively engage in acquiring employment. Students are responsible for finding their own work study positions. To view all available work-study positions available, students must log into , the Career Center鈥檚 student employment site. Students are encouraged to check this site often as jobs are posted when they become available.
Students who are receiving a dependent tuition waiver are permitted to work on campus; however, students cannot work in the same division as a family member, regardless of supervisory role.
